Sizing notes:

I am usually between a size 8 and 10. On my 5'10 ft frame, the size 8 provides a very close, body-tight fit. If you prefer a bit more breathing room, take this into consideration and size up.

  • You measure between sizes? I recommend sizing up for a more relaxed look that remains fitted. From my experience, Boohoo typically runs small.

  • You’re a true match to the Boohoo size chart? Stay true to size only if you prefer a very tight fit; otherwise, I suggest sizing up.

Design Details:

  • Shape: High-waisted, wide-leg, and body hugging.

  • Waistband Rise: True high-rise, sitting well above the belly button.

  • Fabric composition: · 95% Polyester, 5% Elastane/Spandex. (Note: The website description is incorrect, the garment label confirms there is no Viscose in this blend).

  • Fabric feel and quality: Super soft with a touch of stretch. The fabric is fluid, non-scratchy, and "bounces back" nicely after movement. Ironing after washing is essential to restore the fabric’s original softness and length.

  • Colours: Solid, deep oaky brown.

  • Pockets: Two functional side-seam slip pockets at the front.

  • Closure: Sturdy button closure and front zipper (more secure than a standard hook-and-eye).

Creasing notes:

Minimal creasing even after hours of sitting. The polyester/elastane blend is naturally wrinkle-resistant and "springs back" to maintain its shape throughout the day.

Underwear suggestions:

Highly opaque. Between the fabric weight and the deep oaky brown shade, you can wear any colour or style of underwear without worrying about show-through.

All day comfort?

Yes. Perfect for all-day movement and office wear. While the fit is body-hugging, the stretch fabric ensures they don't "cut in" or cause discomfort when sitting for long periods.

What size am I wearing in these pictures? Size 8 ( I am 5'10 ft and my body measures between a size 8 and 10 with most brands)

Length & measurements:

  • In summary: On a 5'10 ft frame, these pants hit just above the floor when barefoot. They provide a fitted, full-length, high-waisted look.

  • Waistband circumference: 28.3 inches / 71.9 cm.

  • Inseam: 34 inches / 86.5 cm.T his is the "true" length, because of the close-to-body fit, there is no extra slack or "bonus" length from a baggy crotch.

Ironing recommendations:

  • Temperature: High heat. Suitable for domestic irons.

  • Technique:

    1. Inside-Out First: Iron on high heat to remove deep wrinkles.

    2. Right Side Out Second:

      Steaming (Recommended): Hang the garment freely in the air and using a high heat move the iron across fabric while it hangs. continually pressing the steam button. You can lightly touch the fabric with the iron but try to keep the iron always moving.

      Ironing: Alternatively, you can use an ironing board traditionally, but you must drop to half-heat. This prevents the fibres from melting and creating an "ugly shine." Proceed this method with caution.

  • Remember: Test the heat on a hidden spot of fabric first. Especially when moving to the right side of the fabric.

Washing and drying notes:

  • Prep: Close all zips and buttons, and turn insideout.

  • Detergent and softeners: Skip the Softener. It coats the fibers in a waxy film that breaks down elasticity. This ruins the fit and leads to sagging.

  • Hand wash or Machine wash with: · To prevent length loss across all products, I recommend a cold, delicate wash (30°C max). Modern detergents are specifically designed to activate at low temperatures, so high heat is unnecessary for general cleaning and only leads to fabric shrinkage and wear.

  • Spin: 300 – 600 rpm

  • Drying: Air dry only. Hang them by the leg hems, the weight of the damp waistband helps maintain the length as they dry.

  • DO NOT: Bleach or tumble dry.

  • Remember: Wash before you wear to prevent colour tarnsfer.

  • If product accidentally shrinks in wash: Steam iron the fabric (inside out) while damp, gently pulling the legs back into shape.
