Sizing notes:

I am usually between a size 8 and 10, but the 8 is the perfect higher-waisted, baggy fit for a casual look.

Design Details:

Shape: Subtle wide-leg fit with a relaxed silhouette, that’s still tailored to hug the body in the right places.
Waistband Rise: High-rise (Covers belly button)
Fabric composition: 88% Viscose, 12% Linen.
Fabric feel and quality: A rustic linen look without the high pricetag, heavy creasing and ridgidness that usually comes with linen. Ironing after washing is essential to restore the fabric’s original softness and length.
Colours: Rustic neutrals: a blush-brown base with cream stripes outlined in oaky brown.
Pockets: Two functional side pockets. The back pockets are decorative and sewn shut at only 2 inches deep.
Closure: · Front zipper with a hook-and-eye closure, reinforced by an internal "invisible" button for a secure fit. Love this

Creasing notes:

Because these are a 12% linen blend, they will crease slightly with wear, but it’s very manageable and nothing dramatic. Any wear-creases are very easy to iron or steam out.

Underwear suggestions:

The fabric is substantial enough that black underwear didn't show through during testing. However, as this is a lightweight fabric, I recommend sticking to neutral tones rather than bright colours.

All day comfort?

These are "desk-to-dinner" comfortable. The relaxed fit means they don’t dig in or feel restrictive when sitting for long periods, and the fabric feels lovely and soft (especially after a quick iron).

Length & measurements:

In summary: These pants comfortably clear the ankles on a 5'10 ft frame.
Waistband circumference: 29.8 inches / 75.7 cm.
Inseam: 32.5 inch / 82.5 cm. The relaxed, dropped crotch compensates for the shorter inseam length, allowing the hems to rest naturally across the top of the foot. They don’t drag on the floor, but they flow well past the ankles.

Ironing recommendations:

Temperature: High heat. Suitable for domestic irons.
Technique:
1. Inside-Out First: Iron on high heat to remove deep wrinkles.
2. Right Side Out Second:
  Steaming (Recommended): Hang the garment freely in the air and using a high heat move the iron across fabric while it hangs. continually pressing the steam button. You can lightly touch the fabric with the iron but try to keep the iron always moving.
  Ironing: Alternatively, you can use an ironing board traditionally, but you must drop to half-heat. This prevents the fibres from melting and creating an "ugly shine." Proceed this method with caution.
Remember: Test the heat on a hidden spot of fabric first. Especially when moving to the right side of the fabric.
Lining fabric: This is more heat sensitive than the outer fabric. Iron it on low heat and with caution.

Washing and drying notes:

Prep: Close all zips and buttons, and turn insideout.
Detergent and softeners: Skip the Softener. It coats the fibers in a waxy film that breaks down elasticity. This ruins the fit and leads to sagging.
Hand wash or Machine wash with: · To prevent length loss across all products, I recommend a cold, delicate wash (30°C max). Modern detergents are specifically designed to activate at low temperatures, so high heat is unnecessary for general cleaning and only leads to fabric shrinkage and wear.
Spin: Lowest speed (200-500 rpm).
Drying: Air dry only. Hang them by the leg hems, the weight of the damp waistband helps maintain the length as they dry.
DO NOT: Bleach or tumble dry.
Remember: Wash before you wear to prevent colour tarnsfer.
If product accidentally shrinks in wash: Steam iron the fabric (inside out) while damp, gently pulling the legs back into shape.
